As a qualified Psychotherapist and Social Worker with 20 years experience, I have successfully worked with clients across a broad range of issues, including providing support to those experiencing issues related to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Social and agoraphobia
  • Chronic illness
  • Disability
  • Self esteem and sexual identity
  • Anger management
  • Addiction
  • Parenting

Clients refer their friends to me because they have experienced tangible results, and find me clear and easy to relate to.

I have the patience and expertise to successfully resolve issues that may currently seem overwhelming. Most of these issues can be sorted out given the right amount of skill and attention.

No matter who you are or how hard things seem, I will ensure you always understand the counselling process and the experience of change that results.

It’s always easier to work with something you understand fully, particularly if it is hard to deal with for short periods of time.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy (or Relationship Counselling) is a way to to learn and practice new communication skills that can help re-establish understanding and connection in your relationship.

I am dedicated to helping couples experiencing difficulties. I am effective, practical and easy to relate to.

Through my extensive professional and personal life experiences I have developed a unique and informed perspective of the challenges that relationships naturally bring.

I use a variety of approaches that enable you to become more assertive and be heard in your relationship.

I understand that men and women can have very different learning styles, and know how to change my approach to meet the needs of both sexes.

One of the more specific issues I work with is helping couples where one partner has a mental health issue or behavioural problems stemming from addiction.
